Those who have been following my blog (or rather the 4 lonely posts that live on here so far) know that I had been working on redesigning Bazbeaux Restaurant Website as a Project for my Visual Design for the Web class. I have to say…to those who consider web design “boring” or “a piece of cake”…reconsider. It is only as boring or as easy as you make it. Website design is definitely a whole different animal compared to print, there is a bible of considerations that goes into designing for the screen, all of them primarily evolving around user experience. I would even argue that web design (pardon, GOOD web design) is more user-conscious than print. I will definitely be looking more into it and posting my discoveries here in the future, but for now, here is the final redesign of the Bazbeaux Website. Observe. Analyze. Criticize (constructively).
